• GT1 requests

If you intend to increase your gas load and you require SGN to check the available capacity and/or pressure of your existing service, you need to complete and submit a GT1 request. Capacity information provided to customers will be for indicative purposes only. It does not confirm the availability of gas and does not reserve any capacity in our network.

You can download the GT1 form here and will need to email your completed form to gt1.gt2@sgn.co.uk.

Further information on how to complete the GT1 form can be found in our GT1 application guide.

The latest gas transporter documents can be found on the Energy Networks Association website

If you’d like further information about submitting a GT1 request, please call us Monday to Friday between 8am and 4pm on 0800 975 1346 (option 4).

  • Type in your postcode to check we operate in your area:

Yes, this postcode is within our operating regions.

The property is outside of SGN's operating regions but energynetworks.org may help you identify the right contact.

Please note that this check only informs you if SGN covers your postcode area, it does not inform you if there are gas assets at your location, in particular if you are on or near the boundary. Before starting any work please contact the SGN plant protection team on 0800 912 1722 or email plantlocation@sgn.co.uk.

Sorry, something has gone wrong. Please email web@sgn.co.uk.
