You can apply online to get a quote for a new household gas connection, alteration or disconnection. 

Household customers: Every job is different, but you can check our current leadtimes on the applications pages.

Once we’ve processed your documents and received payment, our nearest office will call you within seven working days to discuss the details of your work and to arrange a start date.

You can tell us about any urgency or special requirements at this point. We’ll try to finish the job within two working days, and restore any areas of your property that we’ve disturbed within five working days wherever possible.

Business customers: We're not able to give quick estimates to business customers because of all the different elements involved in larger projects.

We can alter your gas supply pipe and move your meter but this may result in the wireless connectivity of the meter being lost.

If this happens your supplier may need to visit to re-establish the connectivity and this might cost you money.

If you want us to alter your gas supply and you have a smart meter, you should contact your supplier to discuss your plans with them too.

Your gas supplier is the company which provides the gas that flows through our network to your property. We look after our network of pipes, keeping you safe and warm.
