Our team has been recognised for leading the way in customer service with two Gold Award wins at the prestigious UK Business Awards.
During the virtual ceremony, which was attended by business professionals from across the UK, we won gold in both the Maggie Colman Customer Service category and for Best Customer Experience – Utilities and Telecommunications.
The UK Business Awards celebrate the country’s finest business achievements and illuminate best practices from every corner of the UK economy. All nominees were praised for how they coped with the recent unprecedented times. Throughout the covid-19 pandemic, British business has proved its mettle in so many ways: through adaptation, innovation and perspiration.
The customer award wins for us reflect the insight gathered from our customers and stakeholders to understand what matters to them, to shape our business and engage our people to meet their needs. To win the Maggie Colman award two years running is a great achievement for our company, as she led the way in demonstrating dedication and commitment to her clients in businesses around the UK
Our Head of Customer Experience Maureen McIntosh who attended the ceremony said: “There's never been a more important time to do the best we can for our customers, especially those who may now be more vulnerable as the cost of living crisis escalates and more people enter into fuel poverty.
"Over the last year we have partnered with many vulnerability organisations to do our best to help in the areas that need our help the most.
