From Monday 21 July, for a duration of approximately 10 weeks, SGN contractors, I&G Contractors Limited will be replacing a section of the gas main on the A418 Aylesbury Road in Wing.
Due to a number of emergency gas escapes, these works have been urgently planned. The project will involve us replacing the old, metal pipes with new longer lasting plastic ones to ensure local homes and businesses continue to receive a reliable gas supply.
Our engineers will be working on Aylesbury Road, between the junction of Westpark Farm to Lower Wingbury Farm. Due to the location of the pipe in the road, for everyone’s safety, two-way traffic lights will be in operation around our work area. To maintain traffic flow, we will be manning these between 7am – 7pm each day.
We appreciate how disruptive traffic management is for residents and road users. Our engineers are committed to doing everything they can to complete these works as quickly and as safely as possible.
