We're working to replace the old metal gas pipe around Sullivan Road in Basingstoke with new plastic Polyethylene pipe. This work will ensure that we can continue to provide a safe and reliable gas supply to your community.
Our contractor, Clancy, is undertaking this project on our behalf and will start on Monday 27 April until December 2026.
Our engineers will be working in:
- Britten Road and footpath
- Chalkridge footpath
- Elgar Cose: in the road and footpath
- Grainger Close and the footpath
- Handel Close
- The footpath by the Health Centre
- Sullivan Road and footpath
Most of our work will not require traffic management. However, we will need to install temporary multiway traffic lights in the following roads to keep everyone safe:
- Sullivan Road between properties 9 and 15: from Monday 11 May until Friday 22 May
- Sullivan Road by Borodin Close: from Monday 8 June until Friday 13 November
- Britten Road at the junction of Sullivan Road: from Monday 8 June until Friday 13 November
- Sullivan Road at the back of Handel Close to the Health Centre: from Monday 29 June until Friday 24 July
