We will be carrying out an urgent repair on the gas pipes in Horsham Road, Bramley to that we can continue to provide a safe and reliable gas supply to your community.
What are we doing?
Following our investigation work in November, we need to repair the pipe by the petrol station in Horsham Road. As the pipe is under the road, we will need to use traffic management to ensure the safety of everyone passing our work site.
How will this affect you?
This work will start on Monday 13 January for approximately seven days. Although the work is expected to be completed within this timescale, engineering projects of this nature can take longer depending on our findings. Any changes will be notified here.
To safely complete this work, we will need to temporarily close Snowdenham Lane at its junction with Horsham Road. Three-way temporary traffic lights will also be in place for the duration of the work. Access will be maintained for businesses and residents and a signed diversion route will be available.
We understand that a road closure causes inconvenience to the local community and we will only use traffic management when necessary to keep everyone safe. Our working hours will be extended to reduce the disruption.
Drop in session
We are planning a ‘drop in’ session for the local residential and business community to see the work plan and raise any concerns. This has been arranged for Thursday 9 January from 2pm – 6pm at Bramley Village Hall, Hall Road, Bramley, Guildford GU5 0AX
Thank you for your continued patience and support.
