As part of our ongoing project to upgrade the gas network in Broughty Ferry, we'll begin the next phases of our work in January 2026.
From Monday 5 January, we'll be working in Monifieth Road and Panmure Street. This phase of our work is expected to take one week to complete, and four-way temporary traffic lights will be in place for the duration.
We'll then begin the next section of our project in St Vincent Street, where a road closure will be in place over a three-week duration. Work will begin at the junction of St Vincent Street and Queen Street, then will work their way down towards its junction with King Street.
Following the completion of the works on St Vincent Street we'll be working in Brook Street, from its junctions with St Vincent Street and Castle Street beside the Esplanade. This five-week phase of our project will be completed under a give and take system for motorists to avoid a full road closure.
We understand this is a busy area and will do everything we can to keep disruption to a minimum for motorists, businesses and the local community.
We'll be updating this page as our work progresses and provide details on future phases to upgrade the Broughty Ferry gas network closer to their start dates.
