We're carrying out essential upgrades to our gas network in the Factory Lane area of Croydon. This work has been planned in close consultation with the local authority l and will ensure a continued safe and reliable gas supply to nearby homes and businesses.

What we're doing
Our engineering team is abandoning our old metal main and transferring services which supply individual properties.
When we'll be working
Our project will start on Monday 1 September and will last for approximately 14 weeks.
Where we'll be working
- We'll be upgrading our network in sections along Factory Lane.
- Our engineers will start this work near to its junction with A236 Mitcham Road and progress west along Factory Lane.
- To ensure everyone's safety, temporary traffic lights will be in operation around our site. These lights will move as our work area progresses.
We appreciate roadworks can be frustrating for residents, businesses and road users. We'll be doing everything we can to minimise disruption while we complete this essential work to keep nearby properties safe and warm.
