We'll begin work to make a new connection to our gas network in Edinburgh on Tuesday 5 January 2021.
Following consultation with the City of Edinburgh Council, our project in the Western Approach Road will take approximately 3-4 weeks to complete.
For the first two weeks of our work, the Western Approach Road will be reduced to two lanes but traffic will still be able to move in both directions. From the 12-19 January, there will be no access to Drysdale Road from Western Approach Road and a signed diversion route will be in place for motorists via Slateford Road, Dundee Street and Fountain Bridge.
The final few weeks of our work will take place in the footpath at the side of the road and during this time we hope to have the Western Approach Road fully reopened.
