We’ll soon be working in Guardbridge to upgrade the gas network. This is essential work and will make sure local homes and businesses continue to receive a safe and reliable gas supply for years to come.
Works will start on Monday, 12 January and last for approximately nine weeks, completing by 13 March.
To carry this work out safely, we’ll need to put traffic management in place, including:
- Two-way temporary traffic lights along Main Street for the duration of our works
- Road closure on Toll Road at its junction with Main Street and Miltonbank Crescent at is junction with Toll Road from 19 January to 13 March.
- A signed diversion route will be in place via Station Road and Main Street.
We appreciate that work in this area is sensitive and roadworks can be frustrating; we recognise this and are doing everything we can to get this essential work done as quickly and as safely as possible.
