We're carrying out the final phase of works to upgrade our gas network on the A199 in Haddington. This work will ensure nearby homes and businesses continue to receive a safe and reliable gas supply now and into the future.
We wrapped up our initial work in August last year and will now return to complete the final phase of the project. Work will start on January 05 and finish three weeks later, on 23 January.
To do these works safely, the Eastbound entrance to the A199 will be closed at the Vert Roundabout junction. A local diversion route will be in place for motorists.
We know these works can be disruptive and we’re sorry for any inconvenience they might cause. We are working as quickly and as safely as we can to complete this essential work, which will keep the gas flowing reliably for years to come.
