Visit our drop-in session

We're holding a drop-in session for local residents and businesses on Wednesday 8 October.

This is a chance for you to learn more about our gas network upgrade project and our team will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.

We'll be at the Graveney & Goodnestone Village Hall on Sandbanks Road (ME13 9DQ) between 2pm and 6pm. We look forward to meeting you.

We will shortly be returning to complete gas network upgrades along Head Hill Road in Graveney and Goodnestone.

This work is essential to ensure we can continue to provide a safe and reliable supply of gas to nearby homes and businesses and is part of our 30-year programme of work to replace our old mains, reaching the end of their useful lives, with new, reliable plastic pipe.

The project restarts on Monday 20 October and will last for approximately 9 to 10 weeks. It will be carried out by our contractor WCB Utilities on our behalf.

To ensure everyone’s safety, we’ll need to close Head Hill Road around our excavations for the duration of our work. This will be a rolling road closure which will move along the road from outside The Lodge in Goodnestone, to the Four Horseshoes Park in Graveney.

We understand roadworks can be frustrating and we’re sorry for any inconvenience caused. This phase of work will complete all our necessary network upgrades along Head Hill Road.

The new plastic pipe has a lifespan of 80 years. This means that once our work is done, Graveney and Goodnestone residents and businesses will be able to enjoy the benefits of a safe and reliable supply of gas for many years to come.
