We can confirm our engineers have completed gas network upgrades along A254 Ramsgate Road, between Salmestone Road and St Augustine's Avenue.
The road surface was restored to its original condition and it was safe to reopen this route to motorists prior to the Easter weekend.
We'd like to express our sincere thanks to affected road users and residents for your patience while we carried out this essential work to ensure local properties continue to receive a safe and reliable supply of gas for many years to come.
We had been due to start the final phase of our project close to the Star Lane Roundabout in mid-March. This work will be replanned alongside the local authority and carried out at a later date. Once confirmed, details will be published on our website.
