From Monday 15 September, SGN contractors, WCB , will start a six-week programme of work to replace the gas mains in the Homestead Road area of Orpington.
These essential works will involve replacing an old, metal pipe with a new longer longer-lasting plastic one so that we can continue to provide businesses and the wider community with a safe and efficient gas supply.

- 15 September for three weeks - engineers will also be working along Worlds End Lane to the junction with Chelsfield Hill. During this time, this section of the road will be closed
- 15 September for 1.5 weeks – engineers will be working along the full length of Roseneath Close. During this time, Roseneath Close will be closed
