As part of our ongoing project to upgrade the gas network in Broughty Ferry, we're beginning work on our final phases in the Queen Street area from Monday 23 September.
Some road closures and temporary traffic lights will be in place at times to ensure everyone's safety and allow our engineers to access our gas pipes.
We understand this is a busy area and will do everything we can to keep disruption to a minimum for motorists, businesses and the local community.
We'll be updating this page as our work progresses and provide details on future phases closer to their start dates.
Project update: 7 February 2025
Our project in Broughty Ferry is progressing well and in the New Year we continued our work in Queen Street.
Our work at the junction with Church Street is now complete and we're now reinstating the road surface. All being well, this section of the road will be fully re-opened by Sunday evening and Seafield Road will return to the usual one-way system.
We'll then move along the road and be working between the junctions with Church Street and and Fort Street for approximately three weeks. The road will be closed between the two junctions, and access will be maintained only for residents.
Local diversion routes will be in place during the road closure and we'll be doing everything we can to minimise disruption.
