We're carrying out essential gas network upgrades in the Mayfield Avenue area of Wantage. This work will ensure a continued safe and reliable supply of gas is delivered to homes and businesses.
Mayfield Avenue
Our engineers are currently working in Mayfield Avenue until the end of August. To keep the traffic flowing safely past our worksite, we have installed temporary multiway traffic lights from the junction of Oxford Lane to the junction of Hawthorn Close.
Linden Crescent
We will start work in Linden Crescent on Monday 18 May for approximately four weeks. For everyone's safety, we'll need to install temporary multiway traffic lights around our work site.
Footpath between Meadow Close and Mayfield Avenue
From Monday 25 May until Friday 12 June, we will need to temporarily close the footpath while we complete our work.
Minns Road
From Monday 25 May until Friday 28 June, we will be working in Minns Road. For safety around our work area, we will need to install temporary multiway traffic lights.
Oxford Lane and Shannon Close
From Monday 1 June to Friday 12 June, we will need to install temporary multiway traffic lights at the Oxford Lane and Shannon Close junctions with Mayfield Avenue.
Howard Avenue and Collinsmith Drive
From Monday 8 June to Friday 26 June, we will need to install temporary multiway traffic lights in Howard Avenue at the junction of Collinsmith Drive.
