We're carrying out essential gas network upgrades in the Ormond Road area of Wantage. This work will ensure a continued safe and reliable supply of gas is delivered to homes and businesses.
Orchard Way
We will be working in Orchard Way from Monday 8 June for approximately nine weeks. To ensure the safety of everyone around our work site, we will need to temporarily close the road in one direction.
On road parking will be suspended to provide enough space to access the gas pipe. Access will be maintained.
Ormond Road
We will be working in Ormond Road from Monday 6 July for approximately ten weeks. We will need to install temporary multi-way traffic lights at the junction of Wallingford Street to the junction of Chain Hill to safely manage traffic past our work site.
