We're upgrading our gas network in the Davis Street area between Winnersh and Hurst.
We are replacing our old metal gas mains and services with new plastic pipes. This essential work will ensure your community continues to receive a safe and reliable gas supply.
Our work will begin on Monday 13 May and last for approximately four months into October. We will update this page with further details about our September/October work in due course.
Phase one
From Monday 13 May for approximately four weeks to Monday 10 June
We'll start our work in Davis Street on Monday 13 May. For everyone's safety around our work site, we'll need to install temporary traffic lights between the junctions of Lines Road and Dunt Lane.
Phase two
From Monday 3 June for approximately three weeks to Friday 21 June
We'll be working in Church Hill. For everyone's safety, we'll need to close Church Hill between School Road and B3030 Lodge Road.
A signed diversion will be in place via School Road, A321 Wards Cross, A321 Broadwater Lane and B3030 Lodge Road. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses.
Phase three
From Monday 17 June for approximately ten weeks to Friday 23 August
We will need to return to Davis Street and will be working from the junction with Dunt Lane to the end of Davis Street. Temporary traffic lights will be in use while we complete our work.
