Wateringbury, Red Hill & B2015 Bow Road

We're preparing to carry out essential network upgrades in the B2015 Bow Road area to ensure nearby homes and businesses continue to receive a safe and reliable gas supply.

Our engineers will be replacing our old metal mains with new plastic pipe.

This work will be carried out in phases, with the majority completed during the school Easter and Summer holiday periods, to help minimise disruption.

Phase one - Red Hill

Our first phase of gas network upgrades will start on Monday 7 April and is expected to last approximately two weeks.

We'll be working in Red Hill from property number 18 to its junction with A26 Tonbridge Road.

To ensure everyone's safety, Red Hill will be closed to motorists around our site during this phase of work. A signed diversion route will be in place for affected road users.

Access for residents and businesses will be maintained where it is safe to do so.

Phase two - B2015 Bow Road

Our engineers will return to complete our second phase of work on Monday 23 June.

We'll be replacing our old pipes along B2015 Bow Road for approximately ten weeks.

We'll need to shut B2015 Bow Road, between its junctions with A26 Tonbridge Road and Waterside Mews. Signed diversions will be in place for affected motorists.

We understand roadworks can be frustrating for road users, residents and businesses. However, the new plastic pipe has a lifespan of 80 years. This means that once the work is complete, the Wateringbury community will be able to enjoy the benefits of a safe and reliable gas supply for many years to come.
