Sheerness, Halfway Road

We're preparing to return to the Halfway Road area of Sheerness to complete essential network upgrades to ensure a safe and reliable supply of gas is delivered to nearby properties.

Our engineers completed the first part of our project in 2024 before our work was suspended.

This is part of our 30-year programme of work to replace our old metal mains with new plastic pipe. We'll be installing our new plastic pipe over the bridge between Sheerness Holiday Park and Maple Street.

• We will return to Halfway Road on Monday 5 January.
• This work is expected to take approximately six weeks to complete.
• To ensure everyone's safety, Halfway Road will be closed to motorists around our site. A signed diversion route is in place for affected road users.
